Titling Jewelry Listings

Want your pieces to be seen by as many people as possible? Follow these steps to make your titles easily found by as many customers as possible. The labels will boost your product recognition, growing your business.

Imagine being a customer and searching for a product. You want results that will match up with keywords in your search, right? An effective title description will help with SEO (search engine optimization). Titles that follow structure and efficiently inform the search engine of the product type will perform better. That’s what makes this guide so helpful! It will give you the best chance in ranking as a match for a customer’s search.

Follow the table below for the best results possible. Not all products will fit this list exactly. Some may not have a gemstone or a carat weight, but the list is conveniently structured so you can choose whichever characters apply to your product.

Title Description Hierarchy

Start the listing name with the first row and move your way down the chart, including the items that are relevant to your product. Capitalize each word and be sure not to write it in all caps. An example follows the table for you to reference.
